Playing Monopoly ....DRUNK

Yes, last night I came home to discover my flatmate had cracked open my bottle of Vodka (she had permission to do so beforehand!) and had layed out the Monopoly board to play a ripper of a game of drunk monopoly!

I'd rarely played monopoly sober so this was not my finest hour, yet while drinking appeared to influence my ability to buy property and even move my horse figurine around the board, it did not make me a better loser. I chucked what could only be called a tanty when I landed on a property owned by Ilana's friend who had happened to put a hotel on it and as such wanted me to pay $1100 or something like that!!! I had $910 assests so proceeded to chuck my cards and money at him and tell im he had made me bankrupt and I'll find a way to beat him then kill him with the monopoly board if its the last thing I do as a free person!!!

All-in-all, despite my bad loser label, it was alot of fun which I needed of late as its been a hard couple of months trying to get some work done.

Goodness gracious!!! That's hilarious. Did 'chuck' come out to play too?? I'm glad you had some much needed fun. I had a call from Vids last night who said she and Yoomi were slightly concerned about your lack of contact.

Please take things easy (a little bit at least, like try and sleep in 'til 6am!!)

Love ya!!

HELLLOOO!!! I called you.. you didn't answer... so I called your house in Canberra... there was still no answer.

Then I decided to call your house in Sydney - I dont really know what I was hoping that would accomplish! Joel picked up and not knowing what to say (I thought it would sound a tad wierd to say "Is Mel ok??"), I just asked him for your Canberra number! (Despite knowing that I ahd the right number...)

Your mum gave me your number in the end :D

Next time I come to visit you, I should play monopoly with you - preferably sober:P

Busy, trying to kick a free-loading housemate out of the house (not Ilana), reading Chronicles of Narnia when I should be sleeping, conjugating a peptide right now for the first time which is stressful, writing a lit review, making a calendar for my YAA business thing, tutoring, not much else.

Anika: you are such a facade (fake-ar-day) that I doubt (do-bout) you can know (kay-no) what (wa-hat) I'm (as in him) talking (tall-ak-in-gah) about (a-boot).
